About Us
Laugh-Medicine is a non-profit organization founded by a group of
collaborative volunteers who donate laughter as medicine to someone who
needs that. Our goal is for people to help each other in calling
circles, to enhance their health and well-being through the use of
laughter as medicine. Oh yes, everything is for free!
Our 1st circle is for our friend. Anyone who offers help can also ask for a moment of laughter!

LAUGHING AS MEDICINE ?
Our joyful friend likes to have a laugh with someone when she's not
feeling well. Or a sweet, positive talk, or an inspiring exchange of
ideas. Her laugh is contagious and she knows many (civilised!) jokes and
special stories.
For her, this works better than painkillers or opiates, and it is safer for her health.
QUITE A BRILLIANT IDEA !
After all, laughter releases endorphins. Morphine is derived from that!
In addition to the analgesic effect, endorphins stimulate the production
of insulin, dopamine and serotonin, and give a relaxed feeling.
That helps enormously.
PHONE CIRCEL
Our joyful friend does not know when it would be necessary. The plan is
to create a phone circle with many. so that probably always someone will
be available. Maybe months go by without, and suddenly 10x a day… it's
impossible to predict. The more people in the circle, the better we
serve each other.
